Job Requirements
\r\n\r\n• 4 or more years of relevant experience and practical knowledge in US import compliance required;
\r\n\r\n• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and similar software applications.
\r\n\r\n• Knowledge of the FTR and CBP regulations.
\r\n\r\n• Specifically, experience with:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHarmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTS)\r\n\tTariff ClassificationCodes in a system for classifying products and goods being imported into the United States\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCountry of Origin Determination\r\n\tCustom Valuation\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
\r\n\r\n• Good communication skills, both written and verbal; critical thinker, logical mind for escalations when necessary
\r\n\r\n• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with and through global, cross-functional teams;
\r\n\r\n• Excellent time-management skills, especially a strong ability to organize multiple projects at one time and prioritize among them;
\r\n\r\n•
\r\n\r\n• Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals;
\r\n\r\n• Ability to work in a team atmosphere;
\r\n\r\n• Organized, detailed and business oriented;
