Job DescriptionPosition/Scope:
To prepare customs entry by entering commercial invoice data for Customs brokerage in compliance with the national regulatory provisions and in adherence to the company's policies and procedures. To perform tasks as requested, including, but not exclusive to, assisting in general Brokerage operations.Responsible for all aspects of the job to the Brokerage Supervisor.Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately enter data & value for import and export products for customs clearance.Accurately update systems databases with appropriate information.Ensure shipments data entered within specified timeframes in line with approved Key Performance Indicators.Liaise professionally and cordially with customers both internal and external.Respond to all queries in a timely manner as defined by standard operational procedure.Complete designated training within specified timeframes.Qualifications
Knowledge:
Government RegulationsStandard Operational Procedures for Customs Import Operations, including Expeditors KPI'sICS and Expedient systemsGeographyAccounting SystemInternational freight Shipping terms Know the Mission statement and Expeditors AttributesGeneral Mathematical knowledge, including but not exclusive to, dealing with Exchange Rates, Foreign Currency and General LedgerComplete understanding of the movement of GoodsSkills:
