Summary
The Department of Cutaneous Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a full-time Medical Oncologist on the Clinical Academician track. This program is widely regarded as one of the top skin cancer multi-disciplinary programs in the country. It has helped pioneer numerous advancements in the field, including role of sentinel lymph node biopsies, adjuvant therapy in melanoma, tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte therapy in refractory melanoma, and percutaneous hepatic perfusion for advanced uveal melanoma.
The prospective candidate will be appointed at the Assistant, Associate or Senior Member level commensurate with prior experience and achievement. The successful candidate would be expected to provide patient care in a highly collaborative environment at the Moffitt McKinley campus where the Cutaneous clinic is housed and at a satellite outpatient location of Moffitt Cancer Center.
Active engagement in clinical trial conduct and enrollment is expected. Collaborative research between clinicians and scientists is part of the culture at Moffitt. The candidate would be expected to supervise rotating trainees from the fellowship and residency programs at the University of South Florida.
