Cutting Machine Operator
**Box and Label Manufacturing Company Urgently Searching for Cutting Machine Operator in Wayne, NJ for 1st and 3rd Shifts !** **Location:** Wayne, NJ **Position:** Maintenance Mechanic **1st Shift:** 6:00pm—2:00pm & **3rd Shift:** 10pm-6am (Monday-Friday) **Pay:** $32+/hour ; Overtime: $48-$52.50 (A Lot of Overtime is Offered) _Full Benefits Offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, etc._ **JOB FUNCTIONS:** • Experienced in duties of qualified Sheet Fed Cutting Operator, including make readies and operation • Experienced on cutting machinery similar or same as Sheet fed cutting equipment such as: Bobst 162 CER, Bobst 1600 ER, Bobst 103, and Bobst 126-BMA • Verify proper job before feeding the press • Proper press maintenance and lubrication • Provide daily quality checklist when inspecting pallets after cutting • Perform make ready and preventive maintenance activities • Able to run job with embossing inline • Keeps daily time and materials usage reports and records information in PEAK • Disassembles machines to perform minor repairs or replace broken or worn parts, using hand tools • May perform hand packing as needed **EXPERIENCE:** • Manufacturing experience preferred • Experience operating hand jacks, electric pallet jacks and forklifts preferred • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have excellent attendance, be able to work independently and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. **SKILLS:** **• LANGUAGE SKILLS** o Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. **• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS** o Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. **• REASONING ABILITY** o Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
