12+ months of eBay Customer Service recommended. 

This position is being hired at Grade 17. 

The CVC (Customer Value Creation) P&A Specialist will be focused on driving awareness and customer growth primarily but not limited to our Parts and Accessory category.  You will be responsible for driving business insights and delivering value for eBay buyers and sellers. You will engage these parties to understand their barriers to growth, handle objections and drive seller scale and use of eBay products. The insights gathered from these conversations will result in supporting a better experience on eBay and be leveraged by leadership to engage other areas of the business to improve products, experience and customer journey. The successful candidate will be able to identify and discuss opportunities for buyer and seller growth and development on site. 

A drive for results is very important to the success of the team along with a high proficiency to be able to work within a busy and consistently changing environment. The teammate will be able to drive customer engagement, document insights and show high levels of organization. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of both buyer and seller journey on site. 

 

What you will accomplish: 

Interacting directly with eBay Motors Sellers on the phone to understand their business, bring them up to speed on new trading (promotional) opportunities and onboard them to participate in those opportunities.  

Understand and share the benefits coupon participation might have for sellers, including boost of insight to their items, inclusion in eBay promotional marketing, better sales history, competitive advantage over competing sellers, etc.  

Be a good negotiator with the ability to realize the value the seller has for the business and adjust the share of subsidy offered.  

Ability to tailor the script to different seller groups to ensure the sellers feel understood and supported and not pushed into participation in events 

Know or able to learn the coupon app in Hive (how to add sellers, set or change coupon share, check former coupon participation and success, send the contract, etc.)  

Conduct various seller outreach to gather and document business and market insights  

Facilitate feedback loops with direct contacts or surveys between sellers, leadership and internal teams to drive continuous improvement of platform and customer experience  

Display initiative to seek additional responsibilities and tasks to achieve core team goals  

Achieve core metrics including, but not limited to, productivity, success rate and efficiency  

Ensure all information related to seller issues is logged, supervised and reported  

Support GCX callback tracker queries for our partners  

Maintain relationships with our sellers engaged to build trust  

Perform data entry tasks and complete weekly admin tasks
