What You'll Do

Administrative support for the Cyber Organization: 


• Performs routine office functions to include receiving, recording, and coordinating requests for information and support; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering verbal, written, and electronic correspondence 
• Maintains and documents network files shares (NFS) for the cybersecurity program
• Coordinates and maintains updates to web content (e.g., SharePoint)
• Coordinates with human resource staff elements for tracking, reporting, and planning for workforce activities
• Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures
• Establishes and maintains electronic smart books for managing and applying continuity processes for administrative support
• Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to the supervisor’s priorities of work
• Proactively manages and deconflicts senior director calendars
• Represents the senior director in executive forums contributing to the specified completion of scope in their absence
• Attends staff meetings, prepares slide decks, records notes and action items, and disseminates to stakeholders
• Manages Cyber Organization directorate activity calendars to include holiday, leave, and associated events 

 

Cyber Security Program (CSP) support functions: 


• Drafting, transmitting and tracking formal correspondence between the CSP, the executive leadership team, and federal partners
• Assisting with the monitoring and progress of contract deliverables 
• Preparing reports and presentations for the staff, executive leadership team, and federal partners

 

This position will include advanced, diversified, and confidential duties that shall be administrative in nature or project based. Work shall require broad and comprehensive experience and skills, and a thorough knowledge of organizational communication protocol and policy.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
