CVP is seeking a Security Technical Lead to execute and support the implementation of a successful Cybersecurity program. This individual will lead a group of 10+ Cyber Defense team members for activities related to SOC, incident response, Security tool administration, A&A support, and blue/red team.
Responsibilities Serve as the security engineering, incident response, risk assessment manager and subject matter expert responsible for the planning, designing, and architecting of a multi-technology cyber solutionsProvide leadership for a team of 10+ Security Engineers and analysistsInvestigate to determine root causes of security issues to perform troubleshooting and problem resolution to restore services.Develop, present and implement sound recommendations for remediation.Provide guidance and support security activities while building relationships with key personnel.Document and inform management with information about security information and event management.Remote management and troubleshooting of workstations and serversProvide expert research and analysis in support of expanding programs and area of responsibility.Assess information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.Apply know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.Perform analysis of security features for system architectures.Perform management and coordination tasks.Provide agency with knowledge and guidance in following NIST, FISMA, Agency Information Security and Privacy, and Cloud Guidelines. Qualifications Ability to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field and 10 years’ experienceExperience demonstrating strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for security information and event management.At least 5 years of security experience, including at least 2 years directly engaged with security engineering activities.At least 5 years experience in a cybersecurity leadership role leading high intensity teamsExcellent communication skills, both written and oral.Knowledge of NIST, FISMA, and Cloud Environments.AWS Certified Architect ProfessionalAWS Certified Security SpecialtyCISSP or GSLC + Certification or equivalentDesired Skills
Knowledge of Information Security and Privacy guidelines.Understanding of governmental budget processes and finance.Understanding of Various Cloud EnvironmentsTwo years of federal security support experience
