**Description** SAIC is seeking a **Cyber Engineer** located at either **Huntsville, AL or Oahu, Hawaii** to support the **Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability (PMTEC) Regional Joint Training Infrastructure (RJTI) Program for USINDOPACOM at the Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC)** to design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect training infrastructure from cyber threats **NOTE: This position can be based out of Huntsville, Alabama or Oahu, Hawaii.** **JOB DESCRIPTION:** + Provide cyber engineering expertise in support of the RJTI program, ensuring robust and secure multi-domain training and experimentation environments + Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect training infrastructure from cyber threats + Develop and manage cybersecurity plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations + Perform risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate cyber risks + Integrate cybersecurity solutions into existing IT and network systems to enhance overall security posture + Monitor network and system security logs to detect and respond to potential security incidents **Qualifications** **REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** + Bachelor’s and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree + Experience as a Cyber Engineer, preferably within a military or defense environment + Experience with risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing + Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, DoD RMF) + Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies + Strong knowledge of IT systems and network security + Must be able to obtain a current Passport and be willing to travel up to 25% **REQUIRED CLEARANCE:** + Must have an Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance + Must be a current US Citizen SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
