This role focuses on defining and managing a portfolio of IT special projects, ensuring detailed requirements, strategic alignment, and high-quality outcomes that take NGA TCS to the next level. The ideal candidate is a process-driven leader with a strong understanding of emerging technologies, IT governance, and operational excellence. **Responsibilities:** Process Optimization & Efficiency Develop and implement standardized processes to enhance team efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce operational costs. Establish governance frameworks, best practices, and KPIs to ensure project success and continuous improvement. Identify automation opportunities and leverage technology to optimize project delivery. Project & Portfolio Management Manage a portfolio of IT special projects, ensuring clear requirements, timelines, and cost-effective execution. Work with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with NGA TCS’s strategic vision. Utilize project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) to drive execution and accountability. Innovation & Future Readiness Research and assess emerging technologies to determine their potential impact on efficiency, cost savings, and IT capabilities. Lead initiatives that position NGA TCS at the forefront of innovation and digital transformation. Collaborate with internal and external partners to pilot and scale new technology solutions. Quality & Delivery Excellence Ensure all projects have well-defined requirements and specifications to guarantee top-quality end results. Implement rigorous testing, validation, and performance monitoring processes to maintain high standards. Drive a culture of excellence by continuously refining project execution strategies. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Partner with IT, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment. Present project roadmaps, progress reports, and cost-benefit analyses to senior leadership. Maintain clear documentation, reporting, and dashboards to track project performance and impact. **Qualifications:** _Required:_ Bachelor's degree 7 + years of firsthand experience as a Cyber Engineer 7+ years of experience in IT project/portfolio management, process optimization, or technology strategy. Proven ability to implement structured processes that drive efficiency, cost savings, and innovation. Strong expertise in emerging technologies, IT governance, and business transformation. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph _Desired:_ Strong analytical mindset with a passion for optimizing processes and reducing costs. Ability to lead complex IT initiatives with a focus on quality and strategic impact.
