Description:The Global Positioning System
(GPS) Control Segment (GCS) program in Colorado Springs is solving challenges supporting our customer’s mission of delivering and sustaining reliable GPS capabilities to America's warfighters, allies and civil users; and we're looking for motivated self-driven technologists to join us. Selected candidate will:
• Maintain the GPS Defensive Cyber Operations Tool Suite as a best in class solution
• Assist the program with secure architecture design and resiliency.
• Identifies, develops, and implements resilient countermeasures to reduce risk to the enterprise.
• Assist with engineering/implementation of technical refreshes/upgrade
• Experience engineering/implementing Oracle databases
As required, candidate must be willing to perform weekend/shift work to support critical program events and/or travel to military installations in Colorado and California.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
• Experience working with source control software
• Direct experience working with miliary customers
• Experience with one or more of the following: Oracle 11G, 12c
• Experience with one or more of the following software languages, utilities, or products: UNIX, Windows, Linux, C++, C, Java, Splunk, Ansible.
• Must be able to obtain Security+ (or equivalent DoD 8570 certification) within 6 months of placement
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
• Security+
• Experience with the following utilities or products: Oracle Solaris (x86 or SPARC), GitLab, CimTrak, Splunk.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools including containerization/Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD
• Experience with Agile development practices
• Familiar with secure information system design and architecture

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $134,300 - $257,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
