Position OverviewFar Ridgeline Engagements LLC, a Qinetiq US company, is seeking an experienced Cyber Intelligence Analyst - Senior in Elkridge, MD able to perform analysis of specialized and/or technical data, make assessments and recommendations, and prepare documentation related to associated data and analysis.
Responsibilities Support network scanning to identify security vulnerabilities and intrusion detection parametersSupport the implementation of Industrial/Physical security systems assessments and inspections based on regulations and industry standards – new DOD FIPS 201-2 standards, and NIST 800-53Perform cyber research/analysis of cyber threats and events and evaluates information/physical security systems and practicesProvide integrated cyber Intelligence/cyber-technical analytic expertiseSupport policy, procedural, and technical documentation developmentKnowledge of the ISC standard: Risk Management Process for Federal Facilities: Design Basis Threat. Required Qualifications TS/SCI with current (in scope), favorable CI Poly or ability to obtain poly #qinetiqclearedjobBS in an IT-related fieldMinimum 5 years' experience in cyber analyticsPossess a working knowledge of tying together the considerations and capabilities of the Internet of Things and physical security systems on federal enterprise systemsExperience with improving processes focused on the integration of CI and cyber investigationsExperience with managing network security, identity and access managementExperience with understanding, engaging, and determining system safety, performance, and reliabilityExperience with federal security regulations, standards, and business processes including FISMA, DOD FIPS-201-2, and NIST 800-53Experience with the NIST Risk Management frameworkExperience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) by translating technical information and guidance into standard operating proceduresKnowledge of the information security risk assessment process.Knowledge of Computer Network Defense and vulnerability assessment tools, including open source tools, and their capabilities.
