Your Mission
Support Cyber Security Defensive Operations by configuring and maintaining a high-fidelity Cyber Range environment consisting of hundreds to thousands of VMs, physical and virtual network devices, and firewalls. You will leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform, Ansible, VMware, and automation tools to ensure seamless, scalable, and efficient network operations.
Collaborate closely to design and implement training environments, force-on-force exercises, and infrastructure simulations. Work alongside software engineers, system administrators, network engineers, and systems engineers to develop innovative solutions for complex cyber challenges.You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:A network engineer with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, and AnsibleExperienced in building and maintaining networks with both physical and virtual infrastructureSkilled in automating network environments using scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Batch, or PythonFamiliar with cybersecurity tools, network configurations, and operational testing in a cyber range environmentComfortable working in a fast-paced setting with evolving customer requirementsA Day in the Life Of:Configuring and automating network environments to support cyber operations and training exercisesWorking with Hunt, Red, and Blue Teams to tailor cyber range configurations to specific mission needsImplementing and maintaining next-generation firewalls, DNS, DHCP, NTP, Syslog, and other core network servicesDeploying and managing virtualized infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration across multiple nodes and sitesCollaborating with a cross-functional team to enhance network automation and security capabilitiesMust Haves:TS/SCI clearance with polygraphBachelor's degree + 8 years of experience (or equivalent: Master’s + 6, Associate’s + 10, High School/GED + 12)Strong experience in network/system administration and cyber operationsExpertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and AnsibleHands-on experience configuring and managing virtualized infrastructure and firewalls (Palo Alto, McAfee)Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Batch, Python)Deep understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems, application behaviors, and network traffic analysisNice to Have:Experience in an Agile development and DevOps environmentFamiliarity with container technologies such as Kubernetes and DockerKnowledge of penetration testing, red team operations, or defensive cyber securityExperience with Splunk, Nutanix, and other cybersecurity toolsAbout us: We are an experienced advanced analytic development company providing Cyber solutions to current and emerging missions.
