Cyber Security Analyst (Mid)

Responsibilities What You'll Do: At V2X, we are making a difference by providing support to programs at NAVAIR. This office is responsible for research, development, acquisition, and sustainment of the Navy's Autonomous Aircraft program. We are looking for a Mid-Level Cyber Security Analyst to support the execution of Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) research and development (R&D) programs by assisting in the coordination of all technical activities of the program office in alignment with sponsor desires and sound engineering practices. This position is located on-site in Patuxent River, MD and requires the candidate to have an active U.S. DoD Top Secret Security Clearance. Key Responsibilities: Identifying and developing program-level / cross-project technical guidance on cybersecurity. Interaction and program representation with numerous stakeholders and technical exchange forums. Assessment of technical risk and mitigation alternatives ln regards to cybersecurity. Tailoring of engineering standards and controls for appropriate technical oversight of technology efforts. Creation and tracking of project technical transition criteria Other technical support duties as may arise from either the Program Lead or the Cyber Lead. Minor (10%) travel is required for this position. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or management field from an accredited college or university. Experience: At least seven (7) years of experience with cyber related activities in DoD research and development (R&D) procurement Experience coordinating operations across multiple organizational boundaries. Experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment. Skill: Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills. Other Requirement: Active U.S. DoD Top Secret Security Clearance. Software: Proficient in all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
