The Opportunity:

Provide valuable analysis and incident response as a member of the Tier 1 Analysts team. By monitoring Elastic security information and event management (SIEM) on multiple enclaves the ideal candidate will support the ongoing mission of Air Force Distributed Common Ground Systems (AF-DCGS) Open Architecture (OA) initiative. After a 2 week onboarding period the ideal candidate will transition to the night shift from 11PM to 7AM M-F.

Responsibilities:

Continuously monitor Elastic SIEM and create escalation tickets for further investigation by Tier 2.Provide routine reports on daily activity for their shift and attend the weekly training and coordination meetings.Participate in tabletop incident response exercises, and provide systems insight to Red Team and Blue Team activities as needed.


Qualifications:
Required: 

Active TS/SCI security clearance.Security + CE certification or higher.BS/BA in Cyber Security or a related field (equivalent work-related experience is acceptable).Willingness to work the night shift (11pm-7AM M-F).


Desired:

Familiarity with AF-DCGS.Familiarity with threat assessment and monitoring tools.Experience with threat mapping methodologies of the Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP).Desire to contribute to as a member of a team of professionals.Advanced Cyber Security Certification, enrollment in a Masters Degree program focused on Cyber Security.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
