**Duties and Responsibilities:** + Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools. + Assist in identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents. + Perform initial triage and escalation of security alerts based on defined procedures. + Support investigations of potential threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalies. + Assist in maintaining incident logs and reports for security analysis. + Learn and apply cybersecurity frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. + Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity trends, attack techniques, and defense strategies. + Support SOC team members in day-to-day cybersecurity operations and documentation. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Pursuing or interested in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. + Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical findings effectively. + Willingness to Learn: Enthusiastic about cybersecurity and eager to develop new skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Certifications (Preferred but Not Required): CompTIA Security+, CEH, or any relevant cybersecurity certifications.(or working towards) + Basic understanding of networking, security principles, and common cyber threats, but not required + Familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security is a plus.
