Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
The PS / Technical Consultant Cybersecurity and Information Assurance role requires a highly motivated individual who is confident and comfortable with rapid changes in direction and environment, taking ownership of the tasks assigned. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that NCR Voyix systems and platforms are compliant with government and industry security requirements.
Key functions include:
Create and manage Plan of Action and Milestone (POAM) documents. Evaluate and upload evidence for applicable controls for ATO and yearly review processing. Work with customer security teams to ensure compliance and document any mitigations required. Respond to security incidents by investigating, analyzing, and mitigating threats. Implement security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory standards. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure network architecture and infrastructure. Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, tools, and techniques, and share knowledge with team members. Provide recommendations for improving the security posture of the organization. Prepare reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and risk assessments for management and stakeholders. Assist with cybersecurity awareness for employees. Assist with cloud security evaluations.
Basic Qualifications
Secret Clearance (must be able to hold but does need to be active interim is acceptable)
2-4 years System Administration (Windows or LINUX – hopefully both) experience (hands on technical)
2-3 years Technical Networking experience (working with networks but not necessarily hands on)
1-2 years Technical Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
1-2 years eMASS experience helpful but not required.
1-2 years RMF security documentation creation/update, 2 years hands on preferred
Process/risk minded, not compliance (“set in stone”) minded.
Deadline and delivery focused – must be able to deliver in a fast-paced environment by aggressive due dates.
Self-motivated, able to prioritize in a complex environment.
8140 – Compliance required – CASP+ or CCISO or CCSP or CFR or CISM or CISSP or GSLC
Willingness to maintain certification (typically 20 – 40 hours annually required)
Ability to learn and understand complex design systems.
Knowledge of Retail domain is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
US Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to get Public Trust security clearance.
