This position is responsible for the protection of company information, computing environments and networks. It provides strategic and tactical leadership of the security administration group. The individual is responsible for the design, implementation, management, control and oversight of all aspects of logical security for McLane Info Systems.
This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

Lead and develop the Cyber Security IAM teams by organizing, prioritizing and delegating work assignments, provide for training and development of staff, make appropriate personnel-related recommendations. Work closely with peers and high-level executives to develop all-encompassing security strategies.Develop, implement, and manage information security strategy aligning with the company’s business objectives.Identify and assess security risks within the organization in real time and implement security measures to mitigate risks.Develop execute programs for security monitoring and compliance; maintaining information security devices and software; and resolving security policy issues.Lead the identification, response, investigation, and remediation of potential breaches of and issues surrounding information security.Mentor a team of professionals, providing them with guidance, support, and training, whenever necessary.Manage the security budget during the annual budget cycle including recommendations, entering the budget with supporting detail.Manage the annual operating plan and expense management for information security.Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in digital files, databases, cloud hosted solutions, and transmissions against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification ordisclosure.Manage the day-to-day administration of individual user access and resolve any issues or questions.Define, implement, and manage security policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.Ensure compliance with security software and services licensing agreements.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to data security and privacy.Participate in the Audit / Compliance activities and ensure that identified gaps are remediated on time and in accordance with the agreed upon plan.Work across different departments to align security initiatives with broader business objectives, raise awareness of security issues with business users, and mitigate the risks various security threats pose to the organization's mission and goals.Stay current with the latest security threats and best practices and adapt the company’s security strategy accordingly.MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
