Cyber Engineer Lead, serving as a Deputy Project Manager, to join our team in the Chantilly, VA, area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist in the creation of fully developed project schedules utilizing the Enterprise Scheduling Service platform (ESS) built on Microsoft Project and Agile schedules using JiraAssist with creating quality slide decks based on projects for senior leadership presentationCoordinate the engineering, integration, and administration function required to deliver capabilities and services to the enterprise Ensure that all aspects of the projects are completed and delivered according to the implementation plan and schedule Responsible for coordinating the build-out and testing of sophisticated applications and tools in a virtual and physical environment Manage the engineering, integration, and administration support required for successful delivery of capabilities and services to the operational and engineering baseline Manage incident/request ticket queues through ServiceNow and various ticket platformsManage, utilize, evaluate, and update all engineer instruction sets and SOPsAttend weekly customer and corporate meetings and track action items to completionCoordinate and assign tasks in aiding the Program/Project engineers in testing and implementing future enhancementsOperate and multitask in a dynamic high tempo environmentPerform work duties in a government environment as part of a multi-contractor team Support integration of systems applications and tools within the customer’s environment Assist with the management of Tier 2-4 support to the customer to include troubleshooting and resolution of issuesBasic Qualifications:
Minimum Education: B.S. or relevant experience in related fieldMinimum/General Experience: 7+ years of related experienceMust possess the required DoD Directive 8570.1 IAT Level II or higher certification or ability to obtain within 6 monthsExperience with Agile project management and Scrum practices, including point estimates, sprint planning and review, retrospective meetings, and requirements gathering sessionsAbility to effectively interact with various levels of senior management as necessary to clearly articulate ideas for executive level and technical staff consumptionManagerial and leadership experience of small to medium team is requiredMust be able to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team, share workloads, and deal with sudden shifts in project prioritiesStrong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills with a high level of attention to detail are required to succeed in this diverse environmentAbility to demonstrate understanding and appropriate application of DoD/IC policy and technical security guidance to information systemsPreferred Qualifications:
General knowledge of security technologies such as vulnerability management, intrusion detection/prevention, log monitoring, and endpoint protectionExperience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNowUnderstanding or ability to learn the latest security principles, techniques, and protocolsAbility to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, coordinating resources and ensuring scheduled goals are metSystem design and integration experienceRisk Management Framework knowledge and experienceAbility to make decisions and resolve problems effectively – seek out information and data to evaluate, prioritize and formulate best solution or practiceSecurity Clearance Requirements:
Must possess an active TS/SCI w/ polygraphPhysical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printerThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The proposed salary range for this position is:
