Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer on a contract providing Network and Cybersecurity services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support transport and cybersecurity information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, inclusive of new facilities and building constructions to support the IC mission.
The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.
Responsibilities Designs, builds, implements, and maintains infrastructureMatures the automation efforts of the lifecycle of a server including onboarding, patching, and sunsettingHelps development teams onboard applications to Kubernetes infrastructureBuilds and maintains kubernetes infrastructureUses and administers automation tools such as, Ansible and SaltWrites documentation and provides training around automation toolsEnsures all authored code is well documented and version controlled appropriately via gitResolves escalated issues and perform root cause analysis for complex issuesSupports development teams by ensuring the supporting CI/CD infrastructure is performant, stable, and kept up-to-dateInteracts with both internal and external customers during all project phases, from planning to maintenanceBe mindful of customer needs and clearly communicates complex informationDemonstrates a high attention to detail, examining every aspect of the systemExercises strong time management skills by taking on multiple projects simultaneously while debugging issues reported by customersBe attentive to communication and productivity tools ensuring inquiries are responded to in a timely mannerRecommends system improvements and changes to systems, as neededParticipates in an on-call rotation including nights/weekends QualificationsClearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to pass a CI poly
Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6 years of relevant exprience.
5+ years of Systems Engineer or similar experienceAdvanced knowledge, including 4+ years of experience, in one or more of the following areas: KubernetesRequired Certifications:
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certificationsRequired Skills:
