Cyber Security Engineer
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer in the Financial Services industry, based in FORT WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania, United States. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the migration of apps, understanding SSO integration, and enhancing security measures within the company. Responsibilities: • Manage the migration process from OneLogin to Okta, ensuring a smooth transition. • Assess and update the application landscape, which is primarily outdated. • Utilize Okta, OneLogin, and Azure Active Directory in daily operations. • Understand and apply Thamel Targets to improve security measures. • Develop a comprehensive understanding of SSO integration, specifically OIDC. • Leverage knowledge of Azure Entra ID to enhance security protocols. • Regularly monitor and update customer credit applications and records. • Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on account activity. Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related field. • Proven experience in the cybersecurity field, ideally within the financial services industry. • Proficient in Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure Active Directory. • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, IT systems and networking concepts. • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve security breaches or vulnerabilities. • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the financial services sector. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical staff. • Must be a team player with a high level of self-motivation and initiative. • Continual learning mindset to stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats. • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH would be an advantage. • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for emergency situations.
