Cyber Security Engineer

Description

•\tDesign and implement systems and processes intended to keep electronic information private and secure

•\tAnalyze existing processes and safeguards and recommend changes, playing a primary role in defining standard organizational guidelines

•\tMonitor systems for any signs of intrusion or potentials areas of vulnerability, and create policies and procedures for reporting issues or notifications

•\tAdvise and train others on how to identify, avoid, and mitigate cybersecurity threats

•\tProvides support to end-users for PC, server, applications, and hardware.

•\tPerforms configurations, installations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance of personal computer products and peripherals.

•\tMay interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.

•\tSimulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.

•\tRecommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.

•\tCapabilities needed to deliver in-person and remote IT aid.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

•\t2+ years’ in network administration and support

•\t1+ years' in network security

•\t1+ years’ VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V or another virtualization experience

•\t1+ years' Avaya

•\tNetworking experience

•\tLinux experience

•\tPowershell experience

•\tFirewall experience

•\tJira experience

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
