Cyber Security Engineer
Description We are seeking a skilled CISO to join our team in Olympia, Washington. In this role, you will manage and oversee our company's cybersecurity measures, ensuring our systems are secure and our data is protected. You will also be responsible for conducting audits and risk assessments, maintaining industry certifications, and staying up-to-date with changing trends in the cybersecurity field. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage cybersecurity measures within the organization • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security threats • Maintain and enhance the company's security infrastructure • Stay up-to-date with changing trends in the cybersecurity field • Hold and maintain industry certifications such as CISP and CISM • Utilize firewall technologies to protect company data and systems • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures • Manage a team of cyber security engineers • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with various stakeholders • Ensure configuration management is done in accordance with cybersecurity best practices Core Benefits: M/D/V (When can they enroll): Yes ST/LT/Disability Insurance?: Yes Retirement Plan: PERS PTO/Holidays/Sick Time: 10 PTO/ Federal/ Yes Requirements • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a related field such as Cyber Security Engineering. • Proficiency in Firewall Technologies, enabling the successful candidate to protect our systems from unauthorized access and data corruption. • Demonstrated ability in Auditing to ensure that our systems and procedures are compliant with industry standards. • Experience in Configuration Management is required to effectively organize and coordinate our security measures. • Specific expertise in the field of Cyber Security is fundamental to this role, as the engineer will be responsible for protecting our online data from cyber threats. • Possession of a Certified CISO (CCISO) certification, indicating a high level of competence in information security management. • An ability to keep up with Changing Trends in the field of cyber security, ensuring that our company is always ahead of potential threats.
