Cyber Security Engineer

This is a unique opportunity to join our tightly knit team supporting the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in the implementation and deployment of a OneStream software solution and maintaining its legacy Hyperion solution until changeover. If you want to work with a great team that provides growth and training opportunities, we want to talk with you. **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** + Risk Assessment and Management:Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats across systems and applications. Prioritize risks based on their severity and likelihood of occurrence. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks. + Security Policy Development:Create and maintain comprehensive information security policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Ensure policies are communicated and enforced across the organization. + Vulnerability Management:Perform regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses. Analyze scan results and prioritize remediation actions. Track remediation progress and ensure timely resolution of vulnerabilities. + Compliance Management: Monitor compliance with relevant security regulations and industry standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, GDPR).Conduct compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance. Develop plans to address compliance gaps and maintain adherence. + Incident Response:Participate in incident response activities by identifying, analyzing, and containing security incidents. Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with relevant teams. Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures. + Security Architecture Design:Provide expertise in designing secure network architectures, including access controls, encryption, and segmentation. Evaluate new technologies and solutions from a security perspective. + Training and Awareness:Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees to educate them on best practices and emerging threats **Basic Qualifications:** + 4+ years of relevant experience + Deep understanding of information security principles, including confidentiality, integrity, and availability. + Expertise in various security technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanners. + Knowledge of relevant security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) + Relevant security certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM, or OSCP **Prefered Qualifications:** + Presentation skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills **Clearance Requirements** + This position will require an active DoD Top Secret and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance ManTech International Corporation, as well as its subsidiaries proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
