The Purpose\nof the Role: Cyber Security Site Resident Engineer

The PCD OT\nSecurity cyber security maintenance engineer is a role in the PCD OT Security\nteam and has direct responsibility for the software/hardware support and\nmaintenance of the cyber security infrastructure of the Process Control Domain\n(PCD).
The PCD OT Security Maintenance engineer is responsible for performing a\nwide-range of activities such as deploy secure which includes designing,\ndeveloping and deploying resilient PCD OT Security architectures and system\nconfigurations. Run secure which includes supporting and maintaining the PCD OT\nsecurity landscape in an operational facility. Think secure which ensures\nadequate PCD OT security awareness and competency training for all relevant\nstakeholders.

Accountabilities:

Maintain PCD OT equipment\n reliability and availability to assure plant production.The Incumbent is responsible for\n all OT and PCD security related aspects of the PCD comprising of major\n systems including DCS, IPS/FGS, QMI, Electrical and Sub-Systems. This will\n include 1st & 2nd line maintenance, Maintenance Strategies and Support\n Services with dimensions comparable to those in a large size refinery.Review PCD OT Security aspects of\n all data communication channels and technology selections for data\n transfers between systems in the PCN and systems in other networks and\n ensure that the necessary asset registers containing information on all\n systems, network components and applications in the PCD have been produced\n and maintained, including all required configuration details.Monitor servers, networks and\n communication equipment for any security alert using implemented tools,\n systems and applications. Monitor and execute user access control and\n user profile management for servers and networks based on documented\n business approval.Review security logs and provide\n reports for identifying potential intrusion into systems and networks, and\n escalate potential incidents as necessary, and to ensure the incident is\n properly investigate, remediated, reviewed and closed.
Evaluate and document the need\n for back-ups (frequency, type of copy [e.g., full, partial, incremental,\n milestone], type of storage media, retention period, encryption needs and\n number of copies) based on the documented criticality of the system.Follow up on unsolved\n problems/error messages with the developer/supplier and be focal point\n during the PCD OT Security incidents handling.

Requirements:

Work in an environment that is\n challenging and encourages efficient work processes, through ownership at\n all levels, technical competence, continuous improvement,\n multi-disciplinary team working with delegated leadership.Work cooperatively with the\n Systems team, Electrical department and QMI to assure there landscape is\n fully running without any issues.Bachelor’s Degree, IT/Computer\n science or Engineering/OT-related field.Proven experience or\n certification in server/desktop infrastructure deployment and maintenance,\n experience or certification on networks including firewalls, routers and\n switches or hosting/storage infrastructure design and implementation for\n production systems (CCNA).Experience in Asset Inventory\n management systems, Intrusion Detection systems, backup systems, Disaster\n Recovery Services is highly desired.Good knowledge and understanding\n of Secure Site and associated services like anti-virus updates, WSUS\n Patching Service and IT services. Familiarity with the Management of\n Change (MOC) process for Production Operations and ability to get work\n done by influencing Production Operations staff.
