**Description**
ARS is seeking a full-time mid-level Cyber Software Engineer located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH, supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). The Cyber Software Engineer’s primary functions will include supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of cyber security related tools for various DoD customers. The Engineer will support requirements refinement, code development, testing and evaluating of the tools and may extend to training end users on efficient and maximum use of the tools.

Responsibilities include:
+ Support requirements analyses and software development of cyber tools
+ Translate stakeholder needs into cyber software requirements
+ Evaluate and integrate applications to satisfy user requirements
+ Follow formal development methodologies adhering to design specification, design techniques, standards and established development guidelines as needed
+ Adhere and support AGILE process-based development
+ Develop system and application requirements based on stakeholder needs
+ Develop formal unit, integration and end-to-end testing to ensure code will operate 100% as expected
+ Test software components for adherence to user requirements
+ Develop and maintain software technical documentation to assist in application maintenance and deployment
+ Use technical expertise to provide innovative solutions
Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
+ Must be a US citizen
+ Must have an active SECRET clearance, TS with SCI eligibility preferred
+ BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
+ Working knowledge of Github
+ Strongly desired experience with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud architectures
+ Demonstrated strong skills in Go, Python and React
+ Security + and CASP+ certifications
+ Demonstrated experience working in groups and teams
+ Ability to work efficiently on teams and individually with minimal supervision
+ Strong analytical, communication and attention to detail skills.
