Cyber Systems EngineerJob Description This role supports the Electronic Warfare Division at our client's innovation center, specializing in various exciting R&D programs. We seek an expert Cyber Systems Engineer who will "think like an adversary" and engage in threat hunting and tactical analysis of ongoing attacks on mission systems. You will lead a team of engineers to perform data analysis, investigative analysis, research on existing and emerging cyber threats, and develop tools to assist in these tasks. You will leverage your understanding of the tactics, techniques, and procedures employed by advanced threats, combined with intelligence from multiple sources. Additionally, you will work with Capture Managers to develop proposals, participate in marketing activities, conferences, and collaborate with industry peers and adjacent parts of our business. Hard Skills Required + Must be an expert in Offensive Cyber Tools Design + Must have experience in an R&D environment OR to have designed similar systems from scratch + Network traffic analysis + Forensic tools and techniques + Threat intelligence reporting + Custom signature creation + Threat hunt operations + ATT&CK + Cyber Kill Chain and Diamond Model experience Soft Skills + Team leadership + Analytical thinking + Proactive research + Collaboration + Communication skills Job Type This is a permanent position. Work Environment This role is 100% remote, but there will be occasional travel to Arlington, VA, or client sites for client demos and requirements.
