Title:
Cyber Systems EngineerKBR is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to support the Navy’s newest network at Annapolis Junction MD. Help build and maintain this global network.
• Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods.
• Verify/validate systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks.
• Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
• Prepare assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis.
• Conduct research and evaluate technical performance of enterprise products and systems.
• Provide feedback to design engineers and evaluate end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.
• Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements.
• Review test plans/procedures and ensure they verify/validate the requirements.
• Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements.
• Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for decision makers.
• Experience verifying and validating systems and assessing cyber threats.
• Understanding of requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Ability to work independently.
• Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE)
