Cyber Warfare Expert - Cyber Defense Analysis (CDA) (Contingent upon contract award)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION\n

The Cyber Warfare Expert provides essential Subject Matter Expertise on current Air Force Cyber Defense Analysis (CDA) operations and capabilities and future Integrated Defensive Cyber System (IDCS) requirements, including architecture, deployment, and operation. This role involves conducting research, and evaluation activities. The Cyber Warfare Expert plays a crucial role in informing all phases of the ADDIE methodology, from requirements analysis to evaluation. The Cyber Warfare Expert applies their expertise in analyzing unique training needs. They collaborate closely with the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) Team and development team, weapon system managers and engineering teams to provide expert guidance and knowledge to facilitate the design and development of scalable training solutions that align with the client's training objectives.\n

DUTIES \n

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nProvide Subject Matter Expertise on current Air Force Cyber Defense Analysis (CDA) operations and capabilities and Integrated Defensive Cyber System (IDCS), including architecture, deployment, and operation.\nConduct research and evaluation activities.\nInform all phases of the ADDIE methodology, from requirements analysis to evaluation.\nAnalyze unique training needs and collaborate with the ISD Team and development team to design and develop scalable training solutions.\nDefine the training environment and other special operating considerations for mission training.\nAssess and provide recommendations to improve and\/or tailor ADDIE process products and deliverables, such as Training Plans, storyboards, course materials, job guides, assessment instruments, and evaluation forms. \nPlan, research, and analyze requirements for integration into the curriculum where applicable.\nCreate and deliver in-person training or remote training (i.e., VTC, virtual meetings, training videos, computer-based training, etc.) as the situation dictates, and as determined by the client.\nIdentify, analyze and assess training effectiveness.\nProcess paperwork for functional area according to established procedures.\nTravel may be required.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\n

EDUCATION\/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS \n\nA minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience with Cyber Protection Teams and DCO missions is preferred.\nExpert knowledge of Air Force Cyber Defense Analysis (CDA) operations and capabilities and Integrated Defensive Cyber System (IDCS).\nGraduates of the Air Force Basic Instructor Course or Instructor Methodology Course are preferred.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and ability to obtain a TS\/SCI clearance.\nMust be able to work effectively in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment with rapidly changing demands.\nMust have strong writing and communications skills.\nMust be able to work well under pressure, prioritize task, and meet deadlines.\nMust be detail oriented, with exceptional problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.\nMust have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).\nMust be able to work in a challenging environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.\nDesired experience with PCTE module development and training ranges. \n\n
