Broadridge is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor/Consultant to meet and work with our external clients, enhancing our sales initiatives. This role is crucial in providing expert cybersecurity insights and support, ensuring that our financial software solutions adhere to the highest security standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to provide deep cybersecurity knowledge and support throughout the sales process.Conduct thorough security analysis of our software solutions to ensure they align with industry security standards and client requirements.Develop and present tailored cybersecurity presentations to prospective clients, highlighting our solutions’ security features and benefits.Assist in responding to client inquiries and RFPs (Requests for Proposals) related to cybersecurity aspects of our offerings.Work closely with internal product and engineering teams to ensure alignment of security features with client needs and industry best practices.Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and compliance requirements affecting the financial services industry.Provide ongoing support and training to the sales team on cybersecurity topics and our solutions’ capabilities.Overall Requirements:
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with fintech software solutions, is preferred.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.Experience in a sales support, pre-sales, or similar role is highly advantageous.Necessary Skills:
Expertise in cybersecurity principles and best practices, particularly within the financial services industry.Strong ability to assess the security needs of financial software solutions and provide expert guidance during the sales process.Experience in collaborating with sales and product teams to integrate security features that align with client needs and industry standards.Proficient in developing and delivering compelling presentations that effectively convey cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical skills to evaluate potential security risks and opportunities, recommending actionable solutions.Experience in maintaining current knowledge of industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements impacting financial technology security.Ability to build trust and credibility with clients through expert knowledge and effective communication.Proven track record of supporting sales initiatives through technical expertise and strategic insights.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.#LI-NO1
