Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS058, T4, Band 7 Key Responsibilities:Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.Incident Response: Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents, providing timely and effective responses.Security Measures: Develop and implement robust security measures to protect information systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.Collaboration: Work closely with IT and security teams to enhance security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, mitigation strategies, and overall security posture.Threat Intelligence: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively address potential risks.Minimum Requirements:Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.8 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.2+ years of experience displaying proficiency in network security technologies and tools.2+ years of experience displaying strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux). Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and techniques.Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems (e.g. Splunk, SolarWinds)Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments using ACAS
Desired Skills & Qualifications:2+ years of cybersecurity experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence community.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Commitment to ethical and responsible conduct.Familiarity with NIST risk management concepts and processes.Familiarity with business continuity planning
