Cybersecurity Analyst (Clearance Required)

ICF is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst for a program responsible for ensuring critical infrastructure protection and resilience through effective collaboration with federal agency partners.  

   

The Cybersecurity Analyst will support our client with federal stakeholder engagement, incident response operations, and strategic programs focused on reducing cybersecurity risk across federal civilian agencies. They will also support program management, process improvement, and data analytics and management activities.  

 

This position is a hybrid role and on-site work (1-2 days/week) will be conducted in Arlington, VA.   

   

What You Will Be Doing:  

Assess information and data shared by partners and collaborate with internal and external partners to proactively identify emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities  

Determine validity and impact of threat information, provide analysis, identify trends, and collaborate to determine necessary partner notifications and potential product development 

Track and contextualize cyber incidents and assist with resolution 

Monitor inboxes and/or collaboration channels for partner communications, respond to partner inquiries, coordinate cybersecurity products (alerts, advisories, etc.) among targeted partners before public distribution 

Assist in developing incident response plans and procedures, SOPs, strategic goals, and other documentation to support the program 

Maintain awareness of and interpret technical details related to priority and ongoing operations and keeping the client informed of relevant cyber news and operational activity acquired from OSINT, intelligence resources, and other communication channels 

Contribute to daily and monthly reporting on key activities 

Support information sharing initiatives to improve collaboration among stakeholders  

Coordinate with internal partners to ensure all parties are aligned on actions and expectations  

Assist with research, preparation, and dissemination of operational notifications to partners 

Support and contribute to engagement with federal partners, including email correspondence, meeting coordination and minutes, briefing material development, tracking action items, and in-person/virtual meetings  

 

Basic Qualifications:  

Active high level security clearance required  

U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position)  

5+ years of experience 

   

Preferred Qualifications:  

Experience supporting DHS programs or initiatives or other federal agencies focused on national security 

Experience briefing senior level leadership and clients on complex topics 

Ability to apply deep knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, emerging threats, and geopolitical events and trends 

Technical certifications or skills (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, etc.)  

Familiarity with relevant national incident response and coordination policies and relevant structures  

Professional and clear communicator with excellent writing and editing skills  

Familiarity with project management approaches and concepts  

Demonstrated customer service orientation with strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills  

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment  

 

Additional Skills:  

Experience managing complex data, including building automations and creating visualizations. 

Experience supporting a government agency in an onsite or hybrid position  

Expertise in Microsoft Office (including SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project) as well as collaboration tools such as Teams and Slack.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$105,353.00 - $179,101.00
