This is contingent upon a successful contract award to Oneida Technical Solutions.\nJob Title: Cybersecurity Analyst\/Lead Vulnerability Assessment Analyst\n

Location: Ft. Johnson
Clearance Level: Secret Clearance - will process for T5 Investigation.
Compliance: DOD 8140 Compliant\n

Position Overview: The Cybersecurity Analyst\/Lead Vulnerability Assessment Analyst will oversee and conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks to the organization's IT infrastructure. This role requires advanced expertise in vulnerability management, threat analysis, and security compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams, managing complex security assessments, and ensuring that all systems meet or exceed DOD 8140 standards.\n

Key Responsibilities:\n\nLead and manage a team of vulnerability assessment analysts in identifying, assessing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities across the organization.\nDevelop and implement vulnerability management strategies, including the identification of potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.\nConduct regular security assessments, penetration tests, and audits to ensure compliance with DOD 8140 and other relevant regulations.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies.\nProvide expert guidance on the development and implementation of security controls to protect against cyber threats.\nPrepare detailed reports and presentations on vulnerability assessment findings, risks, and recommended actions.\nStay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.\nEnsure compliance with federal regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies related to cybersecurity.\nMentor and train junior analysts on vulnerability assessment techniques, tools, and best practices.\n\n

Required Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.\nMinimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on vulnerability assessments and management.\nProven experience leading and managing cybersecurity teams.\nIn-depth knowledge of DOD 8140 compliance requirements.\nStrong understanding of common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs) and experience using vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS).\nExperience with threat modeling, risk assessment methodologies, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and be eligible for T5 Clearance. \n\n

Preferred Qualifications:\n\nCertifications - CISSO or CPTE or CySA+ or CFR or FITSP-A or GCSA or GPEN or CCE or CISA or CISM or GCIH or GSNA\nExperience with cloud security and understanding of securing cloud environments.\nFamiliarity with incident response and digital forensics.\n\n
