We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Manager** with a passion for innovation to lead our **Cybersecurity Controls Tower.** This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of cybersecurity controls and monitoring solutions that safeguard the organization's information systems. The Senior Manager will lead a team of experts to ensure that HP maintains a robust, scalable, and compliant security posture by managing and enhancing its cybersecurity controls. You will: + Lead the design and implementation of critical cybersecurity controls in a global, cutting-edge technology company. + Be a key player in shaping HP's cybersecurity strategy and protecting the organization's digital assets. + Promote career development for your team in a supportive, inclusive work culture. + Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment that values innovation and continuous learning. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Leadership of the Cybersecurity Controls Team:** + Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals focused on designing, developing, and implementing security controls that ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices. + Develop and maintain a high-performing team, providing mentorship, coaching, and opportunities for skill development to enhance the team's effectiveness and growth. + Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cybersecurity Controls Tower, ensuring that all team activities are aligned with HP's strategic security goals. + Foster a collaborative, results-oriented work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement in cyber controls and risk management processes. + Lead the implementation, optimization and scalability of cybersecurity controls that protect HP's systems, applications, and data from internal and external threats. + Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively enhance HP's security controls framework. + **Cybersecurity Monitoring:** + Oversee the development and implementation of continuous monitoring solutions to detect, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks in real-time. + Validate that cybersecurity controls are deployed consistently across the organization and are aligned with global regulatory requirements + Partner with the Cybersecurity Analytics team for the effective integration of cybersecurity monitoring tools and platforms into HP's IT infrastructure. + Drive the adoption of processes and new technologies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of cybersecurity controls performance. + **Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:** + Regularly engage with senior leadership and other business units to provide updates on the status of cyber controls, risk management efforts, and compliance achievements. + Deliver reports on cybersecurity control effectiveness, key risk indicators, and performance metrics to executives and stakeholders. + Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, and legal teams to ensure that HP's security controls sufficient to address the evolving risk landscape. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. + Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly preferred. + Additional certifications in cybersecurity control frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework) are advantageous. **Experience:** + 14+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT compliance, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. + Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity controls, including technical controls (e.g., firewalls, encryption, access controls) and operational controls (e.g., monitoring, incident response). + Strong understanding of global cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS). + Proven track record of leading teams in the development and implementation of cybersecurity programs and controls. **Skills & Abilities:** + Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentorship, collaboration, and performance optimization. + In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity controls, risk management practices, and industry regulations. + Expertise in cybersecurity monitoring tools, risk management platforms, and data analytics tools. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong ability to assess and mitigate risks. + Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. **Personal Attributes:** + **Leadership:** A proactive, strategic leader who inspires and drives high performance in their team while managing competing priorities. + **Innovative:** A forward-thinking individual with a passion for staying ahead of emerging threats and continuously improving cybersecurity practices. + **Analytical:** Strong attention to detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making and risk management. + **Collaborative:** A team-oriented leader who values open communication and fosters collaboration across departments and teams. **Resilient:** Ability to navigate and lead the team through challenges, managing high-pressure situations with a calm and focused approach.
