What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to design, support, and enhance our infrastructure, enabling our client’s team of vulnerability analysts and pen testers to identify and resolve security gaps on the most critical systems. This is your chance to dive deep into the latest tech, collaborate with top-tier professionals, and play a pivotal role in safeguarding some of the most sensitive and complex systems in the world. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion that is impactful by performing the following responsibilities including but not limited to:
Assess, design, implement, and maintain robust security system architectures and networks supporting cybersecurity risk assessment, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments within an unclassified government network infrastructure environmentConduct security assessments and provide recommendations for remediating identified vulnerabilities and prioritize based on criticalityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into client environmentsStay current with emerging threats and cybersecurity best practices to produce realistic threat scenarios against critical systemsSupport the Guidehouse assessment team in planning and conducting assessments, and authoring risk assessment reports summarizing identified risks

Active Top Secret clearanceExperience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessmentsRelevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP)Knowledge of CISA High Value Asset (HVA) program and assessmentsCISA Assessment and Evaluation Standardization (AES) HVA CertificationExperience in cybersecurity, with a focus on system architecture and network securityProven track record of building and maintaining secure IT infrastructuresStrong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and industry standardsExperience planning and conducting cybersecurity risk assessmentsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAvailability to work within client office environment minimum two days per weekThe annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
