Axient is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst/Engineer to support the support STS-3 (we are the Prime)  in El Segundo,  CA.  Will provide direct Assessment & Authorization support to the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for all directorate Mission Information Systems and provide Cybersecurity Analysis & Engineering support for the secure operations of enterprise networks, systems and critical mission data.

What you will do... Develop, update, accomplish Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) entries and updates, coordinate and staff A&A packages in accordance with DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management FrameworkMaintain, prepare and distribute mission systems C&A schedules and package status reportsRegister named mission systems in ITIPS formerly referred to as the Enterprise Information Technology Database Repository (EITDR) in compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)Review enterprise mission systems certification policies, programs, procedures and reports for initial and follow-on system releases, including new and evolving cyber system requirements, and document findings with suggested changesAdminister enterprise mission systems information assurance telecoms and eMASS database updatesConduct research and analysis to assess security posture and impact of new systems, devices, and programs mandated by AF/USSF/Air Force Network Operations Center/DoD/ Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)/Air Intelligence Agency (AIA)Monitor and maintain the Vulnerability Management System by entering all closed Technical Compliance Network Orders into the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) database and closing out network scan findings as identified by DIA, AIA, DISA and INOSC WestReview security control implementation within the Test and Evaluation Management Plan (TEMP) and inputs for OT&E Plan in accordance with DoDI 8500.01 and DoDI 8510.01Conduct and document Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) and physical security penetration tests on enterprise mission systemsRevalidate information assurance and cyber controls for accredited enterprise mission systems, and document findings with suggested changesAssess, as required, Higher Headquarters directed changes in the A&A policy requirements for their impact on mission system security posture or Risk Management Framework authorized systems Skills you will need...

Minimum Requirements

 

3 - 10 years of experience performing similar job duties for USSF or another related DoD organization.CompTIA Security + or equivalent DOD 8570/8140 IAT/IAM level certification.Experience working in eMASS.

Preferred Requirements

Familiarity with Risk Management Framework protocols.Familiarity with USSF A&A procedures.Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent (i.e. SANS GIAC).Excellent and detail-oriented organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.Advanced-level competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Clearance: Must have an active and transferrable DoD TS/SCI security clearance with current investigation at the required level.  Must be able to maintain the required clearance
