The Job At-A-Glance:
The Summer Internship Program spans 12 weeks (from May 21st to August 9th) and offers paid hourly positions with an average workload of 40 hours per week. We provide invaluable hands-on experience in a professional environment centered around digital banking software and technology.
In addition to your regular responsibilities, you’ll have opportunities to participate in networking events, attend enriching workshops, and even present to our Executive Leadership team at the program’s conclusions. Successful completion of the internship could potentially lead to a full-time position upon graduation.
This role operates on a hybrid basis, requiring presence in the office three days a week. Given this arrangement, preference is given to candidates located in Austin or the surrounding areas.
A Typical Day:
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Cybersecurity Intern. In this role, you will focus on enhancing our Email Phishing Service while collaborating with a senior engineer on key cybersecurity initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to meaningful security projects.
Own the Email Phishing Service, managing and improving detection, reporting, and response capabilities to enhance its effectiveness.Work alongside a senior engineer to support cybersecurity projects, including deploying and managing tools such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, and other advanced security technologies to detect, mitigate, and prevent threats.Perform scripting and automation tasks to enhance security workflows.Research and evaluate new technologies to strengthen our security defenses.Document findings, processes, and technical solutions effectively.Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:
Current undergraduate student entering senior year with an expected graduation date around May 2026.Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with Python, Terraform, and/or AWS is a plus.Experience or interest in scripting and automation.Demonstrated analytical thinking and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills
