**Description** SAIC is seeking entry-level professionals to join the Ground-Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Services (GMASS). For the summer of 2025, GMASS has several Cybersecurity Engineering internship positions available. These interns will be performing cybersecurity support, design, and sustainment activities on a government radar system. All of the positions under this job requisition will be located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. **Roles and responsibilities potentially include:** + Work side-by-side with subject matter experts to perform cybersecurity scans, patches, and vulnerability assessments. + Review and assess requirements, diagrams, and documents. + Establish and configure network protocols. **Areas of Technical Interest:** + Basic understanding of cryptography principles. + Python scripting. + Understanding of top 10 vulnerabilities (OWASO Top Ten). + Operating systems security. + Know of security concepts: CIA (confidentiality, Integrity, Availability). + Networking: TCP/IP, Firewalls. + Know of SIEMS tools, Intrusion Detection, Incident Response. + Know of security Framework and Compliance: NiST, ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC). **Qualifications** + Pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM related degree field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. + Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams. + ****Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.** **NOTE: Federal law requires U.S. citizenship to obtain a clearance.** Target salary range: Up to $40,000.
