MAG Aerospace is seeking to hire a Cybersecurity Lead for a new multidisciplinary Product Office at Fort Belvoir, VA.

 

*This position is part of a proposal effort and is contingent upon contract award*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as subject matter expert for all cybersecurity/information technology aspects of the product officeSupervise, train, and mentor approximately four senior cybersecurity personnel and one cloud systems administratorDevelop SOPs and templates for standardizing and streamlining cybersecurity process across the product officeTranslate military operational and mission requirements into practical systems concepts and performance requirementsPrepare and review cybersecurity strategies, test plans, procedures, and reportsExecute certification and accreditation activities, including building and shepherding RMF packagesReview and evaluate system performance against cybersecurity related specification requirements, monitor and assess field performance, and assess risk of meeting user and specification requirementsAssist with cost, schedule, performance, and risk assessmentsAssist with contract deliverablesAssist with IT/cyber tasks in sister product offices or the higher project office, as needed Requirements M.S. in Cybersecurity (no substitute degrees)Current SECRET security clearance (verifiable in DISS)Current CISSP certification20+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of SETA experience in a role with similar responsibilitiesExperience with certification/accreditation of cloud-based systems strongly preferredAdherence to program's teleworking policy of camera on and professional attire (smart casual) while working remotely Special Note

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $160,000 to $205,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
