Cybersecurity Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee key components of our NIST-based cybersecurity program, including vulnerability management, privilege access management, and ensuring compliance with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). This role requires strong leadership skills to collaborate with IT infrastructure teams and manage various security projects, including the deployment of a Generative AI chatbot and disaster recovery planning.

Key ResponsibilitiesVulnerability ManagementIdentify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities across the organization's network, systems, and applications.Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests to ensure the security of critical assets.Develop and implement remediation strategies in collaboration with IT and other stakeholders.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.Privilege Access ManagementDesign, implement, and manage privilege access management (PAM) solutions to control and monitor access to sensitive systems and data.Ensure adherence to the principle of least privilege and enforce strong authentication mechanisms.Regularly review and audit access controls to identify and address potential risks.CMMC ComplianceLead efforts to achieve and maintain compliance with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with CMMC requirements.Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure ongoing compliance.Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address compliance gaps.Leadership and CollaborationProvide guidance and mentorship to the junior members of the cybersecurity team.Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to integrate security measures into existing and new systems.Act as a liaison between cybersecurity and other business functions to ensure alignment of security initiatives.Security Project ManagementManage security projects from inception to completion, including the deployment of a Generative AI chatbot and disaster recovery planning.Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity management roles.Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, privilege access management, and CMMC compliance.Proven experience in leading security projects and cross-functional teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
