What You Will Do:

Cybersecurity Senior Consultants supporting our Federal Civilian Agencies practice are responsible for working with organizations to employ technology (new, existing, emerging) as a catalyst for transformational change or protecting critical systems, data and assets. Cybersecurity Senior Consultants have responsibility for client management, solution implementation, and delivering project results.

Responsibilities include:

Connecting Guidehouse consulting solutions to solve client problems.Leverage industry connections to foster client and firm success: establish business development opportunities, communicate well-organized, effective Guidehouse solutions and presentations to client and internal executives.Lead and support workstreams that enable the assessment, development, and enhancement of Federal Civilian Agency cybersecurity or technology strategies, operating plans, business processes, organizational structures, and supporting infrastructure. Project examples include IT strategy and implementation projects; cybersecurity and data protection strategy and implementation projects; data strategy and governance projects; software and vendor selection projects and technology risk assessments.The role also involves practice development activities including creation of new service solution offerings; authoring thought leadership and white papers; mentoring and coaching consulting staff; and collaborating with segment technology leaders.Communicating solutions and new strategies to clients through meetings, reports, and presentations.

What You Will Need:

An ACTIVE and CURRENT Department of Energy (DOE) Q-Sensitive security clearanceSenior Consultant-Bachelor’s degree AND 4+ years post-graduation cybersecurity work experience in Penetration Testing, Red Hat, SOC operations or related cybersecurity activities; Or Master's degree AND 2+ years post-graduation cybersecurity work experience in Penetration Testing, Red Hat, SOC operations or related cybersecurity activitiesManaging Consultant-Bachelor’s degree AND 6+ years post-graduation cybersecurity work experience in Penetration Testing, Red Hat, SOC operations or related cybersecurity activities; Or Master's degree AND 4+ years post-graduation cybersecurity work experience in Penetration Testing, Red Hat, SOC operations or related cybersecurity activitiesPost graduation work experience should include one or more of the following: Security Operations Center Management, Systems Implementation, Incident Response, or Vulnerability ManagementMust have a current Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification or equivalentAbility to demonstrate Industry knowledge to be conversant in leading edge trends, tools, techniques, and partnersExtensive presentation skillsAbility to travel as requiredCurrently reside in the contiguous United StatesStaff level of hire will be determined through Guidehouse interviewing process

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Preference will be given to candidates within 60 miles of a core Guidehouse office or Client Office location. May be required to work a hybrid work schedule instead of 100% remoteCISSP or equivalentFederal experience in ATOs, C&As, FISMA, or similar5 years IT / Cyber leadership managing teams, projects or programs

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
