YOUR IMPACT

The Cybersecurity Sr. Project Manager is a key player for our department to achieve its goals and initiatives. The primary responsibility of the Sr. Project Manager is to successfully manage the delivery of customer engagements utilizing a variety of OpenText software products and services resources. The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for managing delivery teams and managed services teams composed of both onsite and virtual resources, including offshore. The Sr. Project Manager drives the success of each project to ensure customer satisfaction, establishes a solid working relationship and builds on that foundation to develop future services opportunities. The Sr. Project Manager will be tasked with fulfilling a key advisory role to the RVP / Sr. Director of the department. In addition, the successful candidate will have the ability to work in a cross-department manner.

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Executing account, program and project management tasks associated with assigned client engagements including, but not limited to, forecasting of booked revenue, tracking project financials, developing project plans, managing risks, managing project scope, and issue resolution.
• Advising and guiding clients based on a solid understanding of cyber security principles and elements.
• Working with the Professional Services Resource Managers and Department Managers to establish project resource needs and coordinating project resources on a weekly basis.
• Working with the other project managers within the Professional Services organization to build PMO standards based on lessons learned and drive organizational standards
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team member and other stakeholders. Measure and report on key performance indicators.
• Support Professional Services Directors by providing input for Statements of Work and Change Orders, including scope definition, effort estimation and project plans.

• Deliver RFx responses for our Practice.
• Identifying and tracking new opportunities within accounts including the participation in Business Development synergy meetings to ensure client account activities are communicated internally to other Open Text stakeholders.
• Assisting in the creation of presentation materials including public forum presentations and internal presentations particularly for executive consumption.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• 10+ years’ experience in project management, ideally in a cybersecurity services environment managing a wide variety of projects from small to large size in scope.
• PMP Certification (or equivalent) required – this role is suited to someone who understands formal project management methodology from Initiation to Close.
• Industry Cybersecurity Certifications (SANS or equivalent)
• Detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and writing skills
• Extremely strong M365 capabilities
• History of on time, on budget, project delivery with minimal escalations
• Up to 5% travel may be required
