Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute technical assignments. Each day, you will deliver technical solutions as per agreed timeline and standards using established solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the development of technical expertise solutions and services.The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite.This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries based in Bangalore, IndiaYou will be mainly accountable for:• Design and implement project-specific system, network, and security architectures, delivering sustainable services to maintain cybersecurity standards.• Ensure that project and service deliveries comply with defined cybersecurity levels• Develop and introduce cybersecurity-related policies, standards, and practices and actively identify, manage, and mitigate cybersecurity risks.• Stay ahead of current and emerging technologies and trends in cybersecurity and Represent ABB as a cybersecurity expert in customer engagements.• Maintain and share an in-depth understanding of global cybersecurity risks, market requirements, regulations, and standards.You will join a highly talented team, where you will be able to thrive
Qualifications for the role8-12 Years of experience in hands-on knowledge of domains in Active Directory, WSUS, ePO, system and network hardening, and application whitelisting and experience in CND activities (Protect, Detect, Respond, and Sustain) within a Computer Incident Response organization. Thorough understanding of the lifecycle of network threats, attack vectors, and exploitation methods, including intrusion tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth, and security elements and hands-on experience analyzing logs, network data (e.g., NetFlow, Full Packet Capture), and other attack artifacts for incident investigations Expertise in at least one enterprise SIEM platform (e.g., QRadar, Splunk, McAfee Enterprise Security Manager, or LogRhythm). Engineering degree with at least 4 years of experience in networking or cybersecurity and willingness to travel as required.
