Kforce has a client in Adelphi, MD that is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to support an IT and Cyber for multiple classified/unclassified networks and systems. Key Responsibilities: * Cybersecurity Specialist will continuously evaluate and ensure information is current, relevant and comprehensive for cyber and IT staff * Implementing cyber processes and identifying efficient, effective and compliant process improvements * Perform periodic inspections, audits and assessments of functions and artifacts, remediate findings and notify ISSM * Respond and mitigate security incidents through data collection/containment and event correlation * As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will investigate and manage incidents, ensure appropriate action and coordinate with IT staff until the incident is closed * Investigate policy and security violations with detailed write ups and remediation recommendations * Review Logs and STIGS
