**Description**
+ Develops, implements, and administers policies and programs related to one or more of the following areas: physical security, incident management, international, personnel security, communications security, access control, etc.
+ Assesses programs, keeps abreast of industry, regulatory changes, or new technology and makes recommendations for changes and improvements.
+ Oversees the activities of vendors, guard force, first responders, etc.
+ Activities may include management and administration of security contracts, statements of work, and the procurement of goods and services.
+ Provides specific technical and/or broad scope security support to programs, personnel, facilities, and security infrastructure.
+ This candidate serves as a Program Security Representative (PSR) supporting a US Government Programs, in addition providing personnel security expertise.
+ Candidate selected will provide security guidance to members of sponsored programs, and process personnel for personnel security actions.
+ Security management, security planning, personnel security, physical security, program access request coordination, classified visits, and coordinating secure communications/computing.
+ Ensures personnel processed for access to the programs meet the prerequisite personnel clearance and/or investigative requirements specified.
+ Conducts security education classes, investigates security violations and prepares written reports specifying the outcome of the incident and preventive action to be taken.
+ Ensures courier procedures are prepared and followed.
+ Knowledgeable with processing DD 254's.
+ Reviews and updates Self Inspection Checklists and inspects classified areas.
+ Prepare requests for Co-Use Agreements, Temporary Secure Working Areas (TSWA’s), and any required Waiver documentation.
+ Will assist with the oversight of additional offsite locations and personnel.
+ Assist management with all functions of the defense industrial security program, i.e. contract security specification administration, COMSEC operations, security education and awareness, assisting with investigations, asset protection, access control, etc.
+ Ensure compliance with company and government security regulations.
+ Formulate security policy and procedures.
+ Address and solve security problems with all levels of employees and customer representatives.
+ Conduct investigations and advise the FSO and senior management team.
+ Attend FSO staff meetings and ensure the FSO is kept apprised of critical issues/concerns regarding the facility and offsite locations.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience; or 16 years of prior related in experience in lieu of degree
+ Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
+ Requires mastery level knowledge within a specific technical area or multiple job areas.
