**Description** SAIC is seeking an Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at the Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. SAIC is a proud member of the Advance Battle Management System (ABMS) consortium in support of the Department of the Air Force’s (DAF) mission objectives. This position represents a unique opportunity within SAIC’s Air Force Business Group (BG) with multiple opportunities available to support our growing Portfolio, as well as working closely with mission partners across the defense industry. + Responsible for the development, deployment and execution of controls and defenses to ensure the security of company technology, information systems, and system deliverables. + Develops and implements appropriate standards and criteria for hardware, software, access and encryption requirements. + Establishes system security designs and validates compliance requirements. + Assesses and mitigates system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle. + Performs system certification and accreditation planning, testing, and validation activities in coordination with government customers. + Supports secure systems operations and maintenance. + Conducts internal information technology system audits and risk assessments and reports findings and recommendations for corrective actions to management. + Executes first level responses and addresses reported or detected incidents. Investigates and analyzes all response activities related to cyber incidents. Interprets, analyzes, and reports all events and anomalies in accordance with directives, to include initiating, responding, and reporting discovered events. + Safeguards information against unauthorized use, infiltration, exfiltration, modification, destruction or disclosure of national security information. **Qualifications** + Bachelors and 5 years of experience; Masters and 3 years of experience or 9 years of experience in lieu of degree + Must have active Secret clearance and must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. + Requires mastery level knowledge within a specific technical area or multiple job areas. Viewed as an expert and/or resource within the field by peers in and outside the organization. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
