GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: The Cybersecurity System Administrator (CSA) will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Kratos’ computer systems. The CSA will handle the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and some networking components to maintain optimal performance and security. The role involves monitoring system activity, implementing upgrades, vulnerability management, and providing technical support to users. Collaboration with other IT staff and departments is essential to address technical issues and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives. This position will require partial classified support, so a security clearance is required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: + Maintain servers for local office + Perform in-place upgrades + Apply software patches and updates + Work support tickets and support IT projects for local office + Create/disable user accounts + Create/modify/delete security groups + Add/remove users to/from security groups + Create/modify system folder structure + Perform hardware/software installations and upgrades + Mitigate vulnerabilities from weekly reportEnsure backup operations complete successfully + Report violations of corporate policies + + Document processes for creation of departmental SOPs + Support IT Manager with network & system configurations, functionality, and securitySupport ISSM/ISSO as needed for classified systems + Notify IT Manager of planned configuration changes to systems + + Get training (as needed) to support essential job functions SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
