The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 80 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, logistics, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 40 programs and projects in the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Dahlgren Division’s Integrated Combat System department, Office of Naval Research, and the Navy’s Team SUBS office.#MC

Responsibilities

For this critical work, we are looking for a candidate that will proactively assist with the design, development, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments. You must have the ability to work at our office in Washington, D.C. at least 2-3 days per week.

 

We expect you to consistently demonstrate strong attributes to quickly build competencies and provide the highest quality products and services to the PEO IWS 2.0 Cyber Security Lead and Information Systems Security Manager to ensure that Risk Management Framework (RMF) cybersecurity requirements are satisfied in accordance with applicable DOD, NIST, Department of the Navy (DON), and NAVSEA series instructions. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range:  $90,000 – $120,000.

Qualifications BA or BS degree At least 2 years of experience providing information assurance, engineering, or operational support to the DoD, including supporting information operations, cyber operations, system administration, and systems securityExperience and competence in evaluating cyber compliance with DOD regulations and an understanding of the DoD Risk Management FrameworkPossess DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification or able to obtain within 6 months of hireMust hold and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications:
