The Cycle Count Specialist offers a 40-hour paid week with hour of work being from 7:00am-3:30pm, full benefits, and 401K match plan. The hourly rate for this position is $22.88 per hour.
In this function you will:
• Lead generation of cycle count reports
• Cycle count components and reconcile variances across locations.
• Maintain files and records for cycle counting results.
• Lead process improvements around cycle counting program.
• Trigger recounts for cycle count variance.
• Determine root causes of variances and negative on hands.
• Utilize problem solving techniques and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues or process/transactional problems and follow up on issues as needed.
• Provide daily report outs to departments and management on problems and reoccurring issues, using thorough analysis, publishing graphs and metrics.
• Prepare requisitions utilizing Access to obtain approval for inputting cycle count results into the ERP system.
Required (Basic):
• Minimum of five years of experience in a warehouse or material analysis environment
• Minimum of three years of experience with cycle count programs
• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future
• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Richmond, VA location. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Preferred:
• Minimum of one year of experience with SAP IM and WM environments the material movements and transactions and how these movements affect the inventory
• APICS cycle counting
• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Strong Knowledge of warehousing and manufacturing practices and processes
• Forklift experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a matrix environment, get results and drive change through others
• Effective oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills
