Our Distribution Center in Gilroy, CA is immediately hiring for an Inventory Control – Cycle Counter. This person will report directly to the Inventory Control Manager and will work with other inventory control personnel. This position will spend most of their time on the floor with some office work included.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Working with general supervision, provides basic administrative services in support of warehouse environment, with 20% of work for researching inventory related problems. Candidate is dependable, willing to work overtime, and able to work every Sunday. Maintains an established schedule of cycle counts to audit inventory records and actual product on hand. Enters inventory adjustments into the computer-based inventory control system and generates nightly reports. Performs other administrative or office duties as assigned.Job Requirements:
Interested candidates must be flexible with their work schedules and meet the following requirements: Some recent clerical experience needed. Experience working with computer-based inventory management system would be beneficial. Knowledge of OMI inventory control system. Basic inventory control and/or warehouse operations knowledge. Ability to perform detail work and detect discrepancies on documents. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
