Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Cycle Counter. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:45 pm. The rate for this position is $17.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. In this function, you will:
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the cycle count program.
• Conduct cycle counts per ABC classification and frequency parameters in the ERP system.
• Monitor and maintain the accuracy of all inventory bin locations, vendor-managed inventory, and transit material.
• Generate, maintain, and monitor reports to communicate inventory accuracy.
• Work with team members to streamline processes.
• Perform root cause analysis on errors.
• Manage & Update standard operating procedures for the inventory management system.
• Lead yearly physical inventory process and develop standard work instructions.
• Train new employees on yearly physical inventory processes.
• Cross-trainable in Shipping and Receiving.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
• Maintains housekeeping to keep work areas clean, safe, and hazard-free
Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of previous experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment
• Six months of inventory experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of previous experience with Microsoft (primarily Excel)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the El Paso, TX facility will be considered. Active-duty military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience with ERP/MRP Software
• Forklift certified or willing to be certified
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment
• 2+ years of previous experience with ERP/MRP Software
• SAP System Knowledge
